  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Sitebuilder upgrade from 1.1.1 to 2.0 problems

Hi

I had a working 1.1.1 install when I made the upgrade to 2.0. After installing 2.0 I was emailed this message:

Congratulations! SiteBuilder has been installed successfully. Log file was stored at /usr/local/sitebuilder/log/install.log

If I try to login as root I get a RED "DATABASE ERROR" message on the login screen.

If I try to enter as a guest this error is returned:
Fatal error: General Error in /usr/local/sitebuilder/include/kernel/licensekey.php on line 548

I have sent tech support several emails but have not heard anything back (now 5 days).

Does anyone know how to solve or will I need to pay Sw-soft to repair the problem caused by their upgrade?

Thanks

Chuck Wall

Yes, but I have no idea what was wrong sw-soft fixed it for me.
