As of the last day, SiteJet has suddenly started auto sending marketing messages to our customers in the form of a Plesk email as follows:

Dear customer,

We've noticed that you've installed xxxxxxxxxxxx on xxxxxxxxxxxxxx but haven't created your website and published it yet.
With this beginner-friendly low-code/no-code site builder, you can design professional, conversion-driven websites in half the time. It takes care of design and content by offering 140+ designer templates to choose from and an integrated, AI-based Text Generator to create and embed content directly into your website.

++++++++++

Already getting complaints by customers.

How do we stop this, and WHY did it start?

For anyone else experiencing same....Found the source of this in Tools & Settings -> notifications. Guessing this is a "new" notification that was added via an update. I had to turn it off.

SiteJet website has not been published (client's notification) - was set to notify customer.

We turn all this stuff off by default, so this had to be something added recently by Plesk.

Hello, @nmdpa3. Apologies for the delayed response. I am glad to hear you were able to sort that out. The notification in question was introduced in Sitejet Builder 1.1.4. You can check the change log here.

Added an email notification for non-published websites

We've had unnecessary support requests here, too, for the same case. Customers who were not using SiteJet Builder had received such mails, too.

I understand how how users' confusion could lead to unnecessary frustration and spike in support requests. I forwarded the feedback to our release management team.

Customers who were not using SiteJet Builder had received such mails, too.

I talked with the SiteJet team and we have not observed a similar malfunction. Do you think it is possible for those users to have clicked on SiteJet and have an unpublished website without realizing?

Yes, the condition was correct, its the notice that we took issue with. The customer's knew already that the site was not published, and took offense that we are emailing them to tell them something they already know. By default, we do not hound our customers with any kind of marketing emails, so this struck a sore spot with the ones that got these notices. By default when we setup servers we turn Plesk customer notifications of for 99% of the items it would notify them about, but this one notice was added in an update, and slipped past us. Hence my suggestion to add these notifications with a default of "off" and allow us to make that choice.

Understood. Thank you both for the feedback, it is highly appreciated. I am sorry for the inconvenience this change caused you.
