  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Smart static files processing can't be set

Daveo

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 22.04
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.63 #4
We can't enable this setting, every time we tick it and click apply, it gets reset to not staying ticked.

After further investigation, we have narrowed this down to just one domain that's affected by this.

We even created a new random domain and that works as expected (smart static files processing can be ticked and it stays ticked after clicking apply).

Any ideas why it's just one domain that's affected by this issue ?

@Daveo, do you have the 'Proxy mode' disabled for the domain name in question? Smart static files processing is applicable if you run Apache + Nginx with proxy mode on.

We disabled it as we wish to use nginx and not Apache.

It's weird that only this one domain can't help Proxy Mode off and Smart Static Files Processing on.

All the other domains on the server can have those settings set as we want them.

If you are still unable to set "Smart Static Files Processing" to on after enabling "Proxy mode"(you can disable it afterward), please follow the instructions provided by @Mikhail_S and let us know if you see any errors.
