Smartermail in IIS

I got SmarterMail installed and working however its using the Smartermail web server. How do I configure Smartermail in IIS, I see the instructions in Smartermail but do I need to take out the webmail site in IIS or reconfigure it for SM. Can anyone give me some guidance. I followed the instructions on SM but it would not start. I will keep trying.
