Smartermail Spamassassin not detected

We are using the template for Plesk 10.4.4 on windows 2008 R2 SP1 Container. We tried installing version 6 & 8 for Smartermail, the server components recognizes the Smartermail & Smartermailweb client. however the Smartermail Spamassin is not being detected and it says that it is not installed.

We are trying to use the Smartermail Spamassasin instead of the built-in Plesk Spamassassin.

Can anyone advise?

Why do you think that unsupported spamassassin installed instead of Plesk native spamassassin should be recognized?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but below is the release notes for the latest version of Plesk. Are you saying that any version of the SpamAssassin built into SmarterMail is not supported by Plesk? Attached is a screen shot of Plesk 9.5 recognizing SmarterMail SpamAssassin.

On a side note, if we were to use built-in Plesk Spamassassin, when installing SmarterMail what spam settings would we use? would we completely disable the internal Smartermail spam settings? Also what spam detection features can we safely use from smartermail in addition to the plesk spamassasin? such as greylisting etc...
