  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Sorry, very basic question about mail clean up

Hello all

Sorry, a very basic question, but I cannot find the answer anywhere

What are the settings (in very simple English with directions) for email deletion to save me having to regularly log into the plesk webmail interface in order to clear out email that reaches the in-box limit.

Email does not seem to delete on the server when I remove it from either Outlook or Gmail where it is currently forwarded to locally and there seems scant instruction on how to do this.

Thank you

Hello Ed,

If you are using outlook pop3, then you need to check the feature that says, delete email from the server when it's downloaded.
If you are using IMAP, then after deleting the email, you will also need to empty your trash ...

The same applies for webmail ..
