IDispatch error #19 (COM Error 80040213, Description: The transport failed to connect to the server.
) at Send notification mail to email [email protected]
at (statistics::sendNotificationMail line 3976)
Execute file name: C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\bin\statistics.exe

Seems like statistics.exe can't connect to my SmarterMail SMTP server? How does statistics.exe know the password to connect?

Any thoughts on what's going wrong?

Regards
Lea

Resolved

Since changing my Virus checker from McAfee to F-Prot, as if by magic emails started flowing from statistics.exe and being dispatched correctly. Only one error left in the Event log which wasn't related to SMTP mail failure.

Reason, I had forgotten to create a rule in McAfee Virus/port checker to allow statistics to send mail!

Hi tiramisu

Mant thanks for your input, but I don't follow your suggestion unfortunately.

I'm running the Windows version of Plesk

"crontabmng.exe update"

what does the above line do?
