Hello,
Over the past couple months we've continued to experience issues with statistics calculation.
We're running psa v8.1.1_build20070326.13 os_Windows 5.2.3790.0
For at least two months I've seen that the statistics.exe uses significant CPU almost 24/7. Also mssql uses CPU as it's probably querying the database. It runs each morning at 5:30am and will still be running at 2:00pm.
After updating the statistics.exe with the latest one (from the sticky on this forum) It seems to be calculating. I'm wondering if maybe the log rotation isn't working and it's recalculating on the whole file?
We're running 64-bit Windows 2003 Standard. I'm sure someone else has seen these issues as there's a number of posts about it, some with no replies.
I would really appreciate it if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks,
Nathan
