• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Strange situation plesk does not access when I am on site

I'm having trouble accessing the Plesk administrator and any website when I'm at the company where the server is located. It only returns ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT. This only happens when I'm on-site. What could it be? I've already checked the IP addresses to see if something is blocking it.

It turns out I was using SSH to access the Plesk administrator and lost connection from that day until today, and I can't access it when I'm on-site.

Oh, that's on the public IP; I can only access the local IP. But before, I could access it through the public IP.

Hello, it's difficult to determine the exact cause of the issue. I recommend checking the Access Control List (ACL) settings in your network, or reviewing similar security configurations in your data center.

It's also possible that the firewall is not configured to hairpin the NAT so it's trying to leave the network to come back but the firewall gets confused thinking it's bad and dropping it.
