Issue The product 'plesk' is not installed yet. [but works ok?]

Hi

I have an issue with my install I have been struggling with, but this only seems to affect the systems ability to upgrade or install components through the admin panel.

apt-get autoremove
apt-get clean
aptitude update
aptitude upgrade
plesk installer --select-release-current --reinstall-patch --upgrade-installed-components

..
....
Downloading file php52.inf3: 0%
Downloading file php52.inf3: 100% was finished.
Downloading file pmm.inf3: 0%
Downloading file pmm.inf3: 100% was finished.
Checking for installed packages...

ERROR: The product 'plesk' is not installed yet.

exit status 1

or...

/var/log# plesk repair installation

Reconfiguring the Plesk installation


exit status 1

& plesk repair all comes up with the following issues

fsmng failed: ERROR:[Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/var/www/cgi-bin/cgi_wrapper/cgi_wrapper'


Please help?! :)

Plesk doesn't support custom OS upgrade. In this case nobody knows, what happen.
If you want to upgrade OS, then you can apply built-in dist-upgrade: Dist-Upgrade Support

Could you show your /tmp/autoinstaller3.log ?
