Question There is a safer way to install the PHP extension for WordPress performance: PHP shmop?

PeopleInside

Regular Pleskian
I want install the PHP extension PHP shmop suggested by Wordpress Site Health.
I'm using PHP 8.3 in Plesk.

I found an old guide here, I tried to follow but I was not able to do.
On the first step I tried to do the command apt install plesk-php83-dev build-essential but then I don't understand what to do in the SSH terminal with the step 2.
I maybe need the exact SSH steps with all command to do this, I don't want broke my production server.

I asked here and here for the future implementation of such PHP extension in Plesk as is suggested by Wordpress, in the main time I want have this active for improve performance as suggested by Wordpress site health.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

This thread is posted to the Plesk Onyx section. PHP 8.3 is not available with Plesk Onyx. You'll need to first upgrade to Plesk Obsidian.
