• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

New Pleskian
Hi to all,

I am very new to dedicated servers, Plesk etc...

My server is at 1 & 1 and runs Plesk 9.3.0 and Linux 2.6.23.17-20080303a.

When I start a backup within a domain Home>Client Accounts>MyName>Domains>example.com>Backup Manager everthing works fine. I am able to to do backups at the Server Repository or to store at Personal FTP repository.

The problem starts when I try to make a backup of the whole server Home>Backup Manager

When I try to backup the Server configuration or the complete Server configuration and content I
see:

backup_info_1002111555.xml This file is not a valid backup file.

Clicking the file backup_info_1002111555.xml at Home>Backup Manager: Server Repository>

I receive an error:
Error Log
Backup log information is not available

Is this a bug? Is there a fix? Or is there something that I missed?

Thank you very much for your kind help to a real Newbie. I searche at Goo...but couldn't find any answer regarding version 9.3.

Saludos

Gerald
