  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Unexpected server behaviour - new site not working

patrickjames

New Pleskian
Hi, I am migrating sites from SiteBuilder 4.5 to WPB 10.4.4. Most have worked fine but a very large site would not import so I have had to build it from scratch, copying and pasting content in more than 60 pages!

The site looked fine in the Builder and during preview it seemed ok. I changed the name servers from my old box to the new VPS and it all looked good until the client published for the first time. The template broke and images disappeared.

I am getting the following error (there is more but this is the first part):

-------------------
Error
Unexpected server behaviour.
Execution failed. Command: sbpublish Arguments: Array ( [0] => --publish [1] => /var/www/vhosts/andrewjobling.com.au/httpdocs [2] => -source-file [3] => /usr/local/psa/tmp/tmpSOtM0n [4] => -owner [5] => andrewjobling [6] => -group [7] => psacln [8] => -domain-id [9] => 17 ) Details: Empty error message from utility.
--------------------

I was forced to change back to the old website while I tried to fix this. I thought it may have had something to do with the many documents for download on the site. I originally had problems with importing from the old SiteBuilder to the new Web Presence Builder due to documents not being uploaded correctly. So I have re-uploaded all documents on the new website using the document upload feature.

This is the preview of the site:

https://ds6080.hostname.net.au:8443/sitepreview/http/andrewjobling.com.au/home/

It has taken a long time to rebuild this big website and now I am stuck.

Please, any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

This might be a bug in Content Import feature. Could you please send me the snapshot of this website and, if possible, access credentials to your server via PM? We'll take a look at it.

Similar error after the latest Plesk update

Web Presence Builder now does not allow blog modules to be edited without this error appearing. My server admins followed the instructions in another thread, and now say they can't do anything more, and although they license plesk for my VPS, they do not offer support for the Web Presence Builder. Someone at Plesk needs to look at the problem if possible.

Hi Patrick,

I've send you detailed info on how to fix your particular issue.

Swopedesign,

I believe you have a separate thread about your issue, so I'll address it separately.
