Resolved Update to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.27 keeps failing

ChananZ

New Pleskian
When we try to update to the latest Obsidian version (18.0.27), it continuously fails with the following error message:

------------
Unable to obtain the required version of Plesk Installer: The required version '3.27.0' was not found on the server.
This could happen because of configuration error at the installation source.
The version 3.27.0.0 that was downloaded is not suitable for installation of the product you selected.
-------------

All past updates went through smoothly. This is the first time we see any problem.
The error has been showing starting 3 days ago.

Windows Server 2012 R2

Thanks for any ideas.

Try to do the following:

1. Download the plesk-installer.exe from the following link: https://installer-win.plesk.com/plesk-installer.exe

2. On the same directory in Windows Explorer (where the plesk-installer.exe file was downloaded), hold the Shift key and right-clicked > clicked Open command prompt from here;

3. Run the downloaded file and proceed with the update:

C:\> plesk-installer.exe --console

We've just followed your instructions.
Unfortunately, the result is the same:

------------
Unable to obtain the required version of Plesk Installer: The required version '3.27.0' was not found on the server.
This could happen because of configuration error at the installation source.
The version 3.27.0.0 that was downloaded is not suitable for installation of the product you selected.
-------------

Is there any log file we can examine to view where the problem is? The general Event Viewer does not offer any related to the Installer.
Thanks.

We tried it again, and this time everything worked smoothly. Thanks!!
The reason it didn't work the first time was that we followed the instructions displayed after opening the downloaded file (plesk-installer.exe).
Following your original instructions and using the command prompt, calling the plesk-installer.exe that we've just downloaded, solved everything.

Many thanks!
