  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Upgrade php on Plesk 9.3

Michael MacDonald

Basic Pleskian
Greetings.

I am running Plesk 9.3 on RHEL. My current version of php is 4.3.9. I would like to upgrade php to 5.1. Is there a process documented or recommendations for upgrading php on my system?

Thank you.

I did see that. I know this is a stupid question but here it goes anyway. Step 2 says to to use the command 'yum update'. The problem is I don't have yum on my system. Should I use 'up2date update' and that will work the same?
