well i had to pay again 75 bucks for your guys failure

thanks again to the hard working techs at parallels

well atfer 3 days and 7 techs

this is what the last email is

Thank you for contacting Parallels Technical Support. Your ticket has been passed to the Second line support.

An experienced engineer will work with the ticket and update you during the next 24 hours.

I'll keep you posted on this

ok well it looks like the finally figured it out

it was 1 tech in secondline that was able to do this

restored the only mysql database and then upgraded the 10.2 database to 10.3 and all works now...just not able to change my admin password but thats a differnet problem...

so the question is why did it take 4 days 7 techs on firstline not to figure out that they cant do it and pass it to their more experienced engineers of secondline....

So Parallels you need to look at your front line people and start taking actions to improve your support and not have 3rd party support that dont know what the hell they are doing other then to write emails saying they will look into it and let me know in 4 hours

Trust me, we have all been there with Parallels (and Plesk before that) ... I applied an update about 2 years ago and it trashed my database. Took $75 and we were offline for 3 days (deeply unhappy clients) whilst various 1st line guys fiddled about with it before escalating it. A 2nd line guy in Russia finally fixed it for me (took him 5 minutes). Their support is dire and has always been in my experience.

the problem is version 10 and the intro to their billing software (think modernbill)....

ive been using plesk since they were 7.x and never had problems in upgrading not once...its when i made the switch from 9 to 10 it was all down hill for there...

and yes it was a russian lady that fixed my problem
