upload my own template to Sitebuilder

Can anybody advise me on how to upload my own template to sitebuilder. The current choice of templates are just not appropriate.

As a novice I am at a total loss to comprehend this software !! help

First of all custom template should be created, after that it should be compiled into installable pack and then just installed by running compiled (.msi file). All information how it could be done you can find here:
