Issue wdcollect PHP Warning

Hi there.
For several days now, I got this message regularly in /var/log/messages:

wdcollect: PHP Warning: Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=22480 in /usr/local/psa/admin/externals/Zend/Db/Statement/Pdo.php on line 228

What does that mean and how can I fix this? Already reinstalled Watchdog but it keeps doing this.

Any advice?

Try to increase wait_timeout in my.cnf:

wait_timeout = 28800

and restart mysql service after that.
