webmail.domain.com don't work

Hi,
i am using plesk with a domain, hosted by an other provider than the server runs.
I set a-record to the IP and the mx-settings to the webmail.domain.com

I activate mail for the domain and create an email-adress (mailbox). But the (sub)domain webmail.domain.com ist not available...
Chrome: ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

What can be the problem ?

You can't use webmail.domain.com as a domain name ...That already is reserved for the webmail interface on Plesk.
And why would you want an email such as [email protected]?

Ok, where should the mx entry point when using [email protected]?

But also you should have an A record of mail.domain.com resolving to the server that will be hosting the respective email services.

I have the a-record to the ip-address. Does this not work ?

If you already have the A record resolving to mail.domain.com + you have created the MX records for mail.domain.com then ALL should be fine!
