Weird error message trying to restart Plesk

My server has been acting very strange today. When I try to restart Plesk via command line, I receive the following error:

[root@logic ~]# /etc/init.d/psa restart
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpsdctl restart: httpd restarted
packagemng: Unable to create 'dirty' flag in the PRODUCT_ROOT_D/var: Permission denied
System error 13: Permission denied
packagemng: Unable to create 'dirty' flag in the PRODUCT_ROOT_D/var: Permission denied
System error 13: Permission denied


Has anyone seen this before? And if so, what needs to be done to fix this issue. I have tried to "update" Plesk to which I also receive permission denied errors.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have never seen this odd error msg.

I receive permission denied errors.

Paste us the exact errors. It may be related.

I resorted to reinstalling the server and Plesk. I didn't have the time to mess around with it too much as my clients were crying.

New Problem - Same Error

I am sure this is related to the "owner" of some file or directory. I am receiving the same error. I really don't want to reinstall Plesk or the server.

Anyone want to take a shot at the error. Basically what is in the first post is the error message you get, PSA does start but I don't seem to be able to find any reference to this on either the console or the logs other than what is displayed.

Make sure /usr/local/psa/var is owned by psaadmsaadm and the permissions are 0755...
