  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

Plesk Onyx Version 17.8.11 Update #60

I can't realize when spamassassin is enabled or disabled when I enable / disable spam filter...please see below procedure to repeat my confuse

Test A Step 1:
Tools & Settings > Spam Filter >
Switch on server-wide SpamAssassin spam filtering: Disabled
Apply individual settings to spam filtering: Disabled
Result: Sometimes spamassassin service is enabled sometimes it is disabled. If it is still enabled & running, just go to Tools & Settings > Spam Filter > submit again to disable both

Test A Step 2:
Tools & Settings > Spam Filter >
Switch on server-wide SpamAssassin spam filtering: Disabled
Apply individual settings to spam filtering: Enable
Result: spamassassin service is enabled & running

Test A Step 3:
Tools & Settings > Spam Filter > submit again without change any setting
Result: spamassassin service is disabled & stopped

Test B Step 1:
Tools & Settings > Spam Filter >
Switch on server-wide SpamAssassin spam filtering: Enabled
Apply individual settings to spam filtering: Enabled
Result: Sometimes spamassassin service is enabled & running

Test B Step 2:
Tools & Settings > Spam Filter >
Switch on server-wide SpamAssassin spam filtering: Disabled
Apply individual settings to spam filtering: Enable
Result: spamassassin service is disabled & stopped

Test B Step 3:
Tools & Settings > Spam Filter >
Switch on server-wide SpamAssassin spam filtering: Disabled
Apply individual settings to spam filtering: Disabled
Result: spamassassin service is enabled & running

Test B Step 4:
Tools & Settings > Spam Filter > submit again without change any setting
Result: spamassassin service is disabled & stopped

You can see last steps of both test are just re-sumitting, but different results. Is it a bug or something I missed?
