• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I'm having troubles trying to upload large files through FTP (WS_Ftp)

I'm getting the following error:

-----------------------------------------------------------
STOR splatbattle[1].swf
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for splatbattle.swf
hResRead: 0, hResWrite:80042003
Error reading response from server.
-----------------------------------------------------------

I've already restarted the server and it stills.
I havent touched in any of the options, it just began yesterday.

So it used to work.

0. Can you try any other ftp client, other than WSFtp?

1. Does it now give the error for all large files, or just certain ones?

2. Has your ISP connection changed in any way (like rotating proxy on some DSL connections)?

3. Does this happen from any location, or just yours?

4. Did you or your Data Center techs do any type of updates recently? (I know you said no options touched, but sometimes during an update/upgrade conf files get changed unexpectedly)

5. Does this happen with only files greater than X? size, if so, can you determine the size limit?

I havent tryed with other ISP's and dont know if it happens just with me, but I'll try to get another ftp software and test at my friends computer.

if I have problems I'll come back.
