• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Where to upload tomcat .war files?

I know you can upload the tomcat .war files via Plesk, but my client has some very large war files - up to 50MB. This would take ages via http upload via Plesk and I don't really want to increase the max_upload_limit in Plesk's PHP.

So can my client just upload the war file via FTP? If som, where should be uploaded to?

I am experincing some problems also.

I am trying to use the tomcat addon for the 1st time, I am trying to enagle a .war file that's 5 mb, when i try to add it to the tomcat apps list, it looks like it's uploading it, but then i get a blank screen, no errors at all.

i just tried with a 100k .war test file and it works great, not sure what's going on, since i just get a blank screen.

did you experience any problems like this one?
