On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.
This cannot be achieved through the file manager as it would comprimise the security of the entire webstie. However you can specify write permissions going through windows explorer and right clicking on the httpdocs folder and going to sharing and security, from there you can specifty the permissions needed
You need to access whatever drive you installed Plesk onto, then find the httpdocs that you want to give write permissions to, then right click and go to sharing and security then click on the security tab and specify users from there. This dosn't happen through the plesk interface. Let me know if you have any other questions
