• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Wrong authentification with IMAP/ActiveSync

Atramasis

Basic Pleskian
I have the newest Plesk (11.5.30 Update #31, last updated at Jan 31, 2014 12:38 AM) and have a problem. I use Horde with ActiveSync and connect with Windows 8.1 Mail app.
I am not sure, what software is responsible for this error: Windows Mail, apache/nginx, authpsa (Plesk?), courier or horde?

In mail.err:
Code:
courier-authdaemon: authpsa: short mail addresses are not allowed, got '[B]admin[/B]'
courier-imapd: authentication error: Input/output error
courier-imapd: Maximum connection limit reached for ::1

In access_ssl_log (User=admin):
Code:
 "OPTIONS /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync?User=[B]admin[/B]&DeviceId=BE2689FFEA580DA3F5F6C1DD0A0D03CE&DeviceType=WindowsMail HTTP/1.0" [B]401[/B] 1226 "-" "WindowsMail/17.5.9600.20315"
But next second the whole email address is passed as user name and it works (200).
What is going wrong?
