xcopy issues

Hi

I wish to use xcopy to do a build of a website
For now i am just trying to build to the Server the app is running on
I've created a shared folder on one of the drives on the server
and i've spoofed the hosts file with a website address so it points to the same box

However, i keep getting permission errors
What permissions do i need to have xcopy working?
any articles i can follow to help me on my way?

please give write/read permissions for Guest account for shared folder.
