addition of iis component after plesk installation

Hi guys


I have a problem i havent installed smtp service in iis on windows 2003 while installing plesk7.5.6 Now if i install smtp service on iis will cause any problem in the plesk.

It will cause problems with MailEnable because by default it uses the same port.

hi,

that is not a problem because i know by default it will be using 25 port which can be changed to 26. What i was asking was will there be any problem with the sites running on the server because of reconfiguration i.e. addition of smtp in the iis. will it affect the plesk working because of this.

Smtp service in IIS will not affect the plesk working. You should only set up the other port instead 25.
