Amazon AMI - Parallels Plesk Panel - 'Bring Your Own License' (CentOS)

I purchased and launched an Amazon EC2 with your Plesk AMI BYOL (64b). I have searched and searched. I have no idea how to get the password to login either via the Panel or SSH.

Yes I went to http://kb.parallels.com/114216 but it just states to login to SSH. No mention of the root pwd.

Please advise.

Shouldn't the service provider give you all that information on becoming there customer?

Amazon uses keys. I think the problem is I can not run Putty on my Chromebox. I have an SSH shell but since I can't convert the Amazon key into a ppk key, I can not access. An another way is to use the Java client via browser but my Chrome won't run it.

The Key Amazon gives you or it refers to (on the URL provided) is for SSH access ONLY! You do not need any keys to access Plesk admin interface, all you need is your root or admin password...

If you can login to your server through SHELL, then it's easy to get the admin password.

You don't understand. In order to retrieve my password I need to access SSH first. I don't have a root password or any Plesk login, which is why I posted here to find out.

REsolved. Had a friend use Putty and retrieve password.
