• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

AWS and Personal FTP Repository

CliffA

New Pleskian
Hello All,

I have setup Plesk on 2 separate AWS instances and am trying to setup FTP Repository so they can each hold each others backups.

Everytime I try to configure it I get this error:
Transport error: unable to list directory: Curl error: FTP: couldn't retrieve (RETR failed) the specified file

I read this in the knowledge base:
http://kb.odin.com/en/121260

and manually did the test file curl via ssh and no issue there it did upload.

Not sure how else to try to see more information from what actually is going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Thanks yeah I have setup passive ports on both proftp config as well as the firewall so they match and can connect via my ftp client to the machine without issue.
