  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Backup to FTP (with NAT)

Hello!

Trying to configure a backup on "Personal FTP-store" - copy all the domain settings and data.

Deleted (personal) FTP is located behind NAT. In the NAT to the FTP-server "probrosheny" two ports - 20 and 21. Connecting to third-party managers "from outside" to this FTP goes well - access, record, etc. - All rights and permissions. Through the console of the source server (where the panel is installed Plesk, and where necessary provide back-up) can also be obtained easily connect to and copy any files to a remote FTP (which is located behind the NAT).

But, when trying to create a backup copy of any domain via "Backup Manager" (all settings of the Personal FTP-repository true), the problem hangs for a while, then shows that 100% complete, and then - Error:

<? Xml version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"?>
<execution-result status="error">
<object name="backup" type="backupowner">
<message severity="error" code="msgtext"> Runtime error: Timeout at / usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/Net/FTP.pm line 789.
</ Message>
</ Object>
</ Execution-result>

In this case, appears on a remote FTP backup file (*. tar) with the correct name, but the file size of 0 bytes.

I have tried in the settings of the Personal Ftp-store how to specify "Only passive, or not - the result is the same.

I repeat: this remote FTP to get connected and to conduct any operations with files of the programs simply managers, and with the same source server via the console.

In what may be the problem? Maybe for the "Backup Manager" need some specific ports that need to traverse through NAT to remote FTP?
