  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Did your upgrade to plesk 8 go successfully?

Nope, very bad experience. It goes to upgrade but never does and now it will not recognize my email passwords for any domain.

After a whole series of problems related to versioning, I'm currently getting this if I attempt to access the Plesk Web server:

Waiting for more information from SWSoft.

Looking at these posts, I believe you'll better wait until a few hotfixes are published.
No provider can afford a bad installation and angry customers.

Maybe swsoft should try an upgrade themselves on every O/S that they support...

you are absolutly right! ppl should wait for x.x.2 at least.... never upgrade to a x.0.0.....

too much problems usually on Sw-Soft new versions.

The upgrade was scheduled for last night, however I decided to wait. Same thing on the Virtuozzo 3.0, I'm waiting...
