Question Does Plesk still work after the Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) lifecycle ends?

WebPro24

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Debian 10
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.64 #1
Hello,

we still have a server with Debian 10 running. What happens after July 1, 2025, when the ELS lifecycle ends? I understand, that we do no longer get support and updates, but will Plesk itself still work with that license or with a "normal" license?

Best regards,
Michael

Hello, Michael. Plesk itself should remain working even after 1st of July, 2025, but as you mentioned you won't receive updates and support.

Awesome! Please make it possible to disable ELS function all together then. Customers do not want to pay this excessive / absurd fee for something they do not want. You didn't pull this trick on CentOS 6.x back in the day either, so way do it now?

And compared to the original TuxCare pricing it's just another way to fill the greedy mouths at the investment company. ;-)
Not that Plesk is getting any real updates/fixes because of the ELS.
