Error with Setting up Personal FTP Backup Directory

I'm currently receiving this error in the PLESK v11.5.30 admin when trying to setup a Personal FTP Backup Repository location:
Error: FTP connection failed, please check your FTP settings.
Repository error: Transport error: unable to create directory: Curl error: Access denied to remote resource

The folder is indeed setup to not have the ability to create folders with the user account, however, I have another PLESK admin that's version 11.0.9 that is able to connect to the same server using the same FTP information just fine without any errors.

Was there some change between the 2 versions with 11.5.3 requiring the ability to create directories? Currently I'm only see zip files being generated (from backups on the 11.0.9 version) and not directories.

Unfortunately that seems to be a different error then what I'm experiencing.

Have you specified full path to backups directory (i.e. "/home/pageftp/backups")?

Yes, I've tried that as well. The strange thing is that the exact same settings work no problem in 11.0.9.
