• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How do I force creation of a Windows "Plesk Domain User" with a new Client Account?

Hi all,

I am trying to stick to using Plesk for user administration on my Windows box.

When I create a Plesk "client account" a corresponding Windows "Plesk Domain User" account is not created.

A Windows "Plesk Domain User" appears ONLY when the Plesk "client account" creates a new Plesk domain.

I would guess that Plesk does not create the Windows user account until it is necessary.

tl;dr
Can I force the creation of a Windows "Plesk Domain User" account when I create a new Plesk "Client Account"?

Thanks for the help everyone!

Derek

I discovered that creating a Plesk Web User will create a new Windows "Plesk Domain User" account.

Problem solved :)
