Issue How to match Plesk versions for migration centos 6

JohnBoyWalton26

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
CentOS 6.10 (Final)‬ / CentOS 7
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.31 Update #3 / Plesk Obsidian 18.0.39
Hi I'm trying to migrate to a new server.

Old server: CentOS 6.10 (Final)‬ - Plesk Obsidian 18.0.31 Update #3

New Server: CentOS 7 - Plesk Obsidian 18.0.39

The Plesk versions need to match and i cant work out how to update the old server to the latest Plesk as it says: Installation will not continue because your operating system
"'CentOS' 'Linux' '6.10' 'x86_64'" is not supported.

I have looked on the new server for an older Plesk version but it only goes back to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.37 before it jumps to Plesk Onyx 17.8.11.

Plesk Obsidian >18.0.32 is not supported anymore on CentOS 6.
But why do you say "the Plesk versions need to match"? Using the Plesk Migrator extension you are able to migrate any Plesk version from 8.6 or higher to a new server.

So what I would suggest to do: Update Plesk on your new server to the latest version (18.0.44 Update 2 as of today) and then follow the migration tutorial here:
