  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi

I need guidance on how to uninstall SpamAssasin and reinstall it again on Plesk 8.3 for windows. SpamAssasin seems to miss all spam email despite all training since October ’07. How can I safely remove all traces of SpamAssasin and install it again?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Go to Add/Remove Programs > Plesk > Change > Modify > Mail > Spamassassin.
1. uncheck. Click OK.
2. Remove %plesk_dir%\additional\spamassassin
3. Then use vice versa way to get it installed back.
