HTTP Link Text Not Displaying Correct Font Size

When I select text in my page to associate an external HTTP link to it, the font size gets changed and becomes smaller. See attached screenshot. I try to change it with the size drop down menu, but the sizes it changes it to do not match the text of what's already there. What can I do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Highlight the link, use the eraser to strip the formating, then make it whatever size/color you want.
