Is it possible to upgrade PHP version?

Hello!

On our test installation (Parallels Plesk Panel 9.2 for Linux/Unix) PHP of version 4.4.4 is installed. Is it possible to somehow upgrade PHP version to 5.2.4?

What OS are you running?

We are using debian 4

Download the source code and build a custom php. The php version must have been set by the OS install not the plesk install.

You can build a custom php from the source. but you must have root access.

Disregards of this, php upgrades are always difficult... At least for me it never goes smoothly.
