Is my log rotation working correctly?

Chris1

Regular Pleskian
For a particular domain I've got it set to:

Log rotation condition: By size (1024 KB)
Maximum number of log files: 5
Compress log files: Yes

...however the access_log.processed is at 20.4MB. Is this correct? I would have thought it could only get to 5MB in total?

How do I restrict the size of access_log.processed?

Hi abdi,

Thank you for that. However the accessed_log.processed file for this domain has logs since 27th November 2014.

What controls the length of time this log file is kept for?

Is it the section in the service plan settings that states:
"Retain web and traffic statistics for X months"?

Then after this X months, it finishes that processed log, compresses it and then starts on the next one? Is this right?

Kind regards,
Chris
