• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Lower level software required to run Parallels Plesk Panel on a virtual server?

New Pleskian
What software platforms are Parallels Plesk Panel compatible with? Currently VMware vSphere is running on the hardware and other VMware has already been purchased to further our cloud server product. But is possible to deploy Parallels Plesk Panel on our virtual server powered by VMware, to be available to our clients on all Virtual Machines?

Thanks for the response IgorG. My next question following this would be if it is possible to distribute network related ISV applications, of the host's choice, to its clients via the VMware virtual network and Parallels Plesk Panel combination? The aim is a sort of a "App Store" for network applications, that can be bought by the client from their host. Can Plesk Panel install such a bought application onto the clients VM as well? I am new to cloud hosting, but trying to get up to speed as quick as possible.

Well I think that for your purpose Parallels Automation Suite would be better. Read more about Parallels Automation products on Parallels site.
