• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Basic Pleskian
We are using Plesk 7.5.3 on RHEL3.

We are thinking of upgrading to PSA7.5.4.
any idea what happens to the mail settings and mail which are currently on the server using Mailenable?

Thanking in advance.

Hm, you use RHEL3. I did not hear that MailEnbable was for non windows system.
In Windows if you use SmarterMail then it will remain as default mail server.

Sorry about the error.
I meant we use Plesk 7.5.4 wih Windows 2003.

This comes installed with Mailenable Standard version. We are using this since PSA 7.5.3.

Now we would like to shift to Smartermail.
Any idea how can we migrate the existing accounts?

Hi
If you want to use SM instead ME you can do it, just stop ME services, install SM to Plesk\mail servers\ and select SM in Plesk. All mail settings will be migrated (accounts, domains, etc.) but all mail data will be leaved in ME directories, so you have to ask your clients take out their messages from mailboxes.
