Issue Outdated Grafana Monitoring plugin – no updates available, plugin crashes on start

Plesk version and microupdate number

18.0.72.3

I am currently running Plesk Obsidian 18.0.72.3 (AlmaLinux 8.10) with the latest Grafana extension version 1.6.3.

Grafana itself is correctly provided in version 10.4.19+security-01.

The problem:

• The Plesk backend plugin plesk-json-backend-datasource, required for the Monitoring extension integration, is still from 2021.
• When Grafana starts, this plugin immediately terminates with the following error:
  
  logger=plugin.plesk-json-backend-datasource level=error msg="plugin process exited" error="signal: terminated"
  
  
• As a result, no Plesk or server metrics are displayed in Grafana.
• There is no update available for this plugin in the Extension Store or via the Plesk interface.
• CLI commands such as:

plesk installer update
plesk installer --install-component monitoring

also do not install any new files.

Current state:

• Grafana extension: 1.6.3 (July 14, 2025)
• Monitoring extension: 2.10.1
• Plugin files under /var/lib/grafana/plugins/plesk-json-backend-datasource are dated June 2021.

Expected behavior:

The plesk-json-backend-datasource plugin should be delivered in a current, compatible version so that Grafana 10.4.19 works correctly with the Monitoring extension.

Questions:

• Could anyone please provide an updated package or installation method for the current monitoring plugin?
• Alternatively, a direct download link or instructions on how to manually install the updated plugin?
