  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Outgoing Mail - Object Exceeding Limits - Source?

c0m

Basic Pleskian
When "objects" are reported as exceeding outgoing mail limits, is there a way to tell how the emails are being sent - whether it's via the mailbox using webmail or a mail client, or whether it's a compromised PHP website/script on the web server of the same subscription that's sending the emails. What's the most efficient way to diagnose if the exceeding of limits is malicious, or the user is genuinely sending a lot of emails?

Also the setting "Send an email notification about exceeded limits every..." - does that mean that the email box going over the limit will receive the notification? Is there a way to send an email to the server administrator about when a domain starts to exceed the limits?
