• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Personal FTP Repository Settings ISSUE

dgibbs

New Pleskian
Hello All. I am trying to figure out an issue when adding an FTP repository.

When I add the details I get.

Code:
Error: FTP connection failed, please check your FTP settings.
Repository error: Transport error: unable to list directory: Curl error: Couldn't connect to server

I an access the server using WinSCP in sftp mode without issues. I am testing with the root user as well so there should be no permissions issues. It just does not seem to work.
Are there any logs I can look at or something I can try?

Thanks

Could it be firewalled, so (passive) connections don't go through? I suggest checking whether it is accessible manually from the server.
