Plesk 10.1 - did it fix the problems with 10.0

madsere

Regular Pleskian
Did the Plesk 10.1 update take care of the mess that happened when you migrated Plesk 9.x accounts without users (only domain owners) to Plesk 10.0, leaving domain owners without control panel access, and impossible to fix due to limitations in the control panel.

i dont think so but why not read the 10.1 documentation and the changelog?

Normally you need to run the update before you can see the changelog. I don't want to do that until sure it works and fixes the problem.

Also, it's an easy question for someone who already did the update....

changelog is available on parallels website! no need to update to see it.
but as i said. as i know nothing related to domainusers changed in 10.1

Thanks. Seems from a quick glance the biggest and most complained-about problem in 10.0.1 was indeed NOT fixed in 10.1. :(

I updated from 10.0.1 to the latest which I think is 10.2.0 .... but cant check since i am not able to login into plesk anymore, shows blank page !

I need help !

I need this to get solved asap !!!

You shouldnt have an update script for stuff, that is not working !

Plesk 10.2.0 is not released yet. It looks like that you have installed Parallels Small Business Panel 10.2 over Plesk. Now only full reinstalling/recovering from backup can help. Contact Support Team.

Hi Igor,

no ... I haven't installed the Small Business Panel.

But on the UPDATES page I had the possibility to choose between 10.1.1 and 10.2.0.

I fixed it by running apt-get install -f and then running the autoinstaller on the SSH shell.

Now it installed 10.1.1 and I am able to login again. Seems solved by now.
