• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk 10.x Qmail Patch Request

GerardE

New Pleskian
Dear parallels
I'd like to request a copy for the patches for the Plesk 10.x release for Linux/Unix.

I have tried the 9.x patches as directed in this thread and they are not the same as 10.x.

A timely reply would be appreciated.

Many thanks,
Gerard

According to developers you can safely use these patches for 10.x too. There is no special patches for Qmail in Plesk 10.x.

Many thanks for your quick reply Igor, thought I'm afraid I do not agree with the developers assessment of the 9.x patches.

Having compiled the 9.x patches myself the symbol table generated is very different from those in the 10.x binaries.
Also its is very obvious that many of the binaries compiled with the 9.x patches are very different to the 10.x binaries, such as qmail-queue.

In any case, these are all besides the point, I would like the 10.x patches to examine them myself.

Many thanks
Gerard

Yes the PP9 patches will of course work, but the binaries on PP10 are different.

The file sizes are completely different for the patched files (which you create fro that URL) compared to what QMail binaries exist on my PP10 server. So which patches did the developers actually use for PP10?
