• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved Plesk Backup Error

New Pleskian
System: ‪Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2‬
Plesk: 12.5.30 Update #43

Hi got the following error when creating backup (scheduled or manual).

Code:
Error: server "server"
Error in execute 'backup_encrypt' ' --encrypt-by-plesk -backup-files-map C:\Parallels\Plesk\PrivateTemp\tmp63033.tmp': Source file is not accessible.
Error:
Error in execute 'backup_encrypt' ' --encrypt-by-plesk -backup-files-map C:\Parallels\Plesk\PrivateTemp\tmp63033.tmp': Source file is not accessible.

Problem is, that the backup file has a grey symbol and can not be used for restoring because of a possible error. So i have a backup that is senseless.

Already used plesk reconfigurator "Check component and folder permissions" & "Repair Plesk installation"
Both options found no problems.

Yes, thats it. Thanks.

Maybe you could add a filter, when creating such accounts to block the unsupported symbols.
