Issue Plesk Migrator failed to perform action with cfreateDump.pl

Hi everybody,

I have a weird issue with plesk migrator. First of all, I did successfully transfered 26 accounts from cpanel to plesk 4 months ago. I wanted to finish by a huge web app yesterday.

Unfortunately, I have the following message :

Cause: Error creating migration dump: Command execution failed on the source server 'cpanel' (37.187.252.107) with non-zero exit code.

That is a critical error, migration was stopped.

The connexion to the cpanel server is working. I can reach the accounts left. When I select an account to migrate, this error message is displayed and the migration is blocked.
So I tried to re-install plesk migrator, no success. I went further, and apparently on the plesk server I should have pmm_agent installed and trying to generate a createDump.pl file. Not working.

Next step, I checked the chmod on cpanel, it seems to be ok : drwx------ 8 root root ... I tried agin, still the same message. So, if you have any clue on how to solve this issue, it will be very helpfull.

Hello, @Zolive . Could you please check the corresponding /usr/local/psa/var/modules/panel-migrator/sessions/time_stamp/pmm-agent.time_stamp/configuration-dump.log file to the time of the failure and let us know what additional details are logged?

Thanks for your help. I have not found any configuration-dump.log. Instead, there are shallow-dump.log with xml code in it. Connexion is working with the cpanel server, but no information about what is wrong afterwards. Here is what I have in the migration log

Thank you for the update. What do you see when you list /usr/local/psa/var/modules/panel-migrator/sessions/ please? The error provided could result from a broad range of issues and it is difficult to point out what exactly is causing it without additional details.
 
I tried to reinstall plesk migrator, still not working. When I list the folder, there is a timestamp folder :20250601193235
Now I have found the configuration-dump.log

@Zolive this has been identified as a product bug with ID PPPM-14990. As or right now I cannot suggest a workaround, but our team is actively working on resolving the issue and hopefully a fix will be introduced in the upcoming few days. I will provide more details as soon as possible.
 
Thank you for the report, @MHC_1 . I expect our team to release the fix in the beginning of the upcoming week, provided that there are no unforeseen events.
 
@MHC_1 , our team is still running final tests before the release. It shouldn't take long for the fix to be released. Unfortunately, there is no option to rollback.

Despite this, the same issue as OP has still remains. Fix instructions have been followed exactly and migration tool has been reset, new migration made, and comms with source server works, but no dump is generated. Folder is created. Plesk server was also restarted .

As said, the previous version of Migrator worked fine. Source server is using CPanel 110.0.68
 
@MHC_1 , could you please check the debug log in /usr/local/psa/var/modules/panel-migrator/sessions/XXXXXXXXXXXXXX/debug.log and let us know what's logged there? Thank you in advance.
