  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Plesk Round cube not allowing connections via VPN

nisamudeen97

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

Few of our clients are using VPN's like "hotspot shield" to bypass all their network traffic.
https://www.hotspotshield.com

We could see plesk roundcube not allowing to connect via VPN. We are getting the below messages after logging. I have tried the same using desktop browser and mobile browser. Both have errors. I have also changed default webmail service to horde and tried again. I could see the same issue with horde alsp

I have checked roundcube error logs for plesk meanwhile i am unable to find any errors from logs. Can anybody help on this?

please, check and make sure that the request from your browser reaches the server.

In general, when you open a webmail, the corresponding logs are written to `/var/log/httpd/access_log`, please check this log. If you do not see any changes in this log, it means that your request from browser does not reach the server.

Hi,

Thanks for the advise. I have already checked this and I could see it is getting logged. Meanwhile on page it is showing "302" status code which means resource I am requesting has redirected to another resource. Is it some thing we can fix on plesk side. I have the issue only when I am using VPN.
