  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Problem with key upload

I just purchased a Sitebuilder license for my Plesk 7.5.2 SuSe 9.1 system but I can't upload the key file. Plesk always indicates an "invalid license key or license" and the upload is not succesful.
I also tried a manual upload directly to the .key folder but it doesn't seem to work either.

Could somebody help me? Thanks.
I'm a complete newbie regarding Plesk and I'm not very good with Linux either, so please have mercy. ;)

The license is for SiteBuilder, not for Plesk, you can upload via SB interface.

So how do I get to the SB interface because I can't start SB without the key??? Thanks.

When you install it there should be a temporary license installed. If not, you can upload the key file via shell and run sh SB.xxxxxxx.key.sh and it will install it.

I think I'm too dumb to start Sitebuilder.
I found sitebuilder in /usr/local/sitebuilder but how do I get access to it to start it? Again, I'm a newbie and I think I'm missing something. Thanks again for helping.

OK, I did it, I installed it...or not. :(
After the first page (the one I have to enter the language, etc.), I get the following error:
